Colaba, Mumbai


Outermost peninsula of Mumbai is the most vibrant and fashionable suburb named Colaba. It is located in the southern side of the Gateway of India and there is the most crowded southern section of Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg which leads to Colaba.
The southern end of the causeway houses the Afghan church, it was built to commemorate died soldiers in the first afghan War. It was built in early English style and with 58 meters spire. The causeway passes very close to Sassoon Dock, which is the first wet dock in India.
